The Yuzu we have come to recognize and love is usually from the Citrus Junos family.

Due to it’s long history, Yuzu is cultivated in many countries and regions with many different varieties. Some come with or without thorns and with or without seeds.


We’re scouring the internet to find Japanese articles on various types of yuzu. Although some varieties are well known and mentioned, some have little or no information online.
